Announcement: Saratoga Pride Vigil Tuesday in Response to LGBTQ Mass Shooting Victims

  • Congress Park 325 Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (map)

The Saratoga Pride community invites our members, friends and allies to a local vigil to remember those who were tragically killed or wounded in the mass shooting at the Pulse LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando. We are devastated by the loss of our sisters and brothers and we hold them and their families and friends in our hearts.

Our gathering will take place on Tuesday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the pavilion in Congress Park in downtown Saratoga. We will come together in prayer, music, and community for healing, strength and the determination to end the violence that hurts us all.

We are grateful to our local faith communities, representatives of the Orchard Project, Mayor Joanne Yepsen and the Saratoga Police Department for their support of this event. Please note that parking will be available after 5 P.M. in the Empire State College parking lots on the corners of Union Avenue and Circular Street.
