MLK Day of Service: Saratoga Free Fridge: Food and Grocery Card Collection Drive

Saratoga Pride is excited to partner with MLK Saratoga (@MLK.Saratoga ) on the “MLK Day of Service” on Monday, January 16th, for the Saratoga Free Fridge: Food and Grocery Card Collection Drive. We will be collecting gift cards to local grocery stores to be distributed to people struggling to feed themselves and their families. To participate, simply purchase a gift card (of any amount) at any local grocery store (Hannaford, Price Chopper/Market32, Wal-Mart, etc). Then bring your gift cards to either Saratoga Springs Public Library or Frederick Allen Lodge (69 Beekman Street) on Monday, January 16 between 9:30am and noon. Saratoga Pride volunteers will be on hand to accept your donations. Distribution to families in need will be done through the Franklin Street Community Center and the Saratoga Senior Center.

If you would like to make a donation but cannot make it to one of the drop-off locations, please contact us at info@saratogapride.com to arrange a pickup or alternate drop-off.
